The goal of Mobile Lotteries for Safe Births is to scale the Uganda safe motherhood voucher program from 3% of national births to 30%. For the Saving Lives at Birth competition this week, we had to produce something that would convey the function of Mobile Lotteries – as well describe the bottlenecks with current voucher programs, the way that Mobile Lotteries addresses these bottlenecks, and the measurable impact that this has on getting cost-effective, quality maternity care to women. Working with the Population Council RH Vouchers team and our internal team, we developed a physical, fold-up poster to do this. Mobile Lotteries in Uganda is a Gobee collaboration with the Population Council and Marie Stopes International Uganda. Here’s digital version (click on image to view larger):
